Taal Rupak is very unusual Taal with 7 beats presented in three divisions of 3, 2 and 2. The Taal does not start with non-accented rhythmic notes and proceeds with accented bolos. Rupak taal is used both in classical and semi-classical compositions. The fact that Rupak has odd number of beats with asymmetric structure makes it very interesting and some what complicated beat cycle.
