Deepchandi is a very special taal with a unique rhythmic pattern with silent beats. The taal has 14 beats presented in four divisions of 3, 4, 3, 4. The taal has clap, clap, wave and clap structure for accents. Deepchandi is often played with semi-classical compositions known as Thumari and Kawallee.
